Good methodology for determining a product proposition and potential functions
Jeffing brilliantly cynical view of every day life from David O’Reilly
Not entirely ‘far out’ but interesting view on the future of books by IDEO.
The 1st and 2nd are particularly interesting for me. The 1st, Nelson because it continues the trend of technology democratising information by allowing the reader to see the full range of views on a topic, then interact, engage and potentially challenge these points of view.
The 3rd, Alice, shows how through technology we can make narrative come alive… which is an interesting concept. Not always welcome but certainly has possibilities.

I just read this book and I urge anyone else to read it. What struck me was not just the insight into how a normally rational and kind people could be turned into monsters (which is enlightening and fascinating) but also serves as a reminder that those who lived through war torn attrocities in the past (and present) are actually no different to us, with the same feeling, hobbies, hopes etc.

Love, love, love this poster by Paul Rice for upcoming Beirut gig in Dublin. Not sure why it refers to an old album… but hey.
